Carolina Acceleration Sports Training “Cord Programs” incorporate our protocols and special training cords into sport-specific training, so athletes can improve skills and maximize their potential. That’s the key benefit that our training Programs offer today’s athletes. Throwing Program


SPORTS: Baseball, Football, Softball, Track & Field

To improve throwing velocity, we combine our training protocol with the patented ThrowingCord™and weighted ball program, manipulating the neuromuscular system and developing strength and mechanics specific to throwing a baseball, softball, football or even javelin. Scientific studies at three different universities have reported an average improvement in throwing velocity of 4 miles per hour, with no reported injuries. Independent studies at CAST have shown an average improvement in throwing velocity of 5 to 6 MPH

Hitting Program


SPORTS: Baseball, Golf, Softball

Optimizing the mechanics taught by coaches, the hitting Program, utilizing the HittingCord™/Harness and weighted ball program, recruits all muscles involved in swinging a bat, a golf club or a tennis racquet to develop greater swing speed and hip rotation. Players from the youth to professional levels are using this training technology, combined with our patented cord technology, to achieve excellent results for baseball, softball, tennis and golf. Independent studies at CAST have shown an average improvement in hitting velocity of 6 to 8 MPH

Kicking Program


SPORTS: Football and Soccer

Our patented KickingCord™ engages the specific recruitment of all muscles involved in kicking, developing optimal kicking mechanics and concentric and eccentric strength – which contribute to a successful Program, with documented results in NFL place-kickers and punters. Athletes in soccer and the martial arts benefit as well.

PowerCord™ Program


SPORTS: Baseball, Basketball, Field Hockey, Football, Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball

Our PowerCord™ Program utilizes the patented PowerCord™, a training cord that provides upper extremity resistance to the arms, trunk and shoulders for better sport-specific movements such as throwing, puck handling and shooting, hitting and more. The PowerCord™ is used in conjunction with specialized sport-specific training Program protocols for hockey, volleyball, basketball and baseball. Athletes looking for improvements in any sport-specific movement utilizing the upper extremities will benefit from participating in the PowerCord™ Program or utilizing the PowerCord™ in conjunction with other Carolina Acceleration Training Programs.

Safety

Safety of the athlete is #1. Athletes train in a controlled environment allowing trainers to inform them of the specific drills prior to beginning. All athletes are under adult supervision during training sessions.
