SPORTS NUTRITION
WHAT IS SPORTS NUTRITION?
The goal of weight gain should be to maximize gains in lean body mass and to minimize gains in body fat. To accomplish this goal you must consume more calories than you’re using throughout the day. The rate of gain should be less then 1.0kg/week [2.2 lbs./week]; this will reduce fat gains. Remember DISCIPLINE is the key to success. Learn to enjoy saying “NO” to yourself-experience the thrill of reaching your goals through self-discipline. You may have to change some things you like to do, but remember it’s not a sacrifice, it’s a commitment to excellence!
EAT TO COMPETE AND OPTIMIZE PERFORMANCE
Your body is a finely tuned racing machine. To perform at top capacity, it needs to be lubricated and fueled with high-octane fuel. What you eat and drink today can improve (or decrease) tomorrow’s power, speed, strength, stamina and coordination. Your dietary input will determine your muscular output.
We perform body composition evaluations in order to provide recommendations for dietary intake. Our recommendations are broken down based on personalized macro-nutritional values for each meal rather than counting total calories per day.
